Yue Shen is currently a Ph.D. student within Professor Tomac's Research Group. Her research projects focus on the application of DEM-CFD on coupled processes of torpedo anchor in clays. Before joining UCSD, she obtained her MSc (2021) in Soil Mechanics at IC and BEng (2020) in Civil Engineering at Sichuan University, China.
